The club won several pots at the Henley Fours and Eights Head of the River race on Saturday 14th February.
The event, which has been cancelled for the last three years, was held over three divisions on a grey day with little stream or wind. In the first Division there were wins in Elite and IM1 Coxless Fours in times of 11.03 and 11.00 respectively. Two junior crews also entered but no prizes were awarded due to too few category competitors.
In the Mixed Quadruple Sculls in Division Two the crew of Pippa Birch, Alice White, Michael Nagi and Jake Davidson won convincingly in a time that beat all other crews except the Senior crews previously mentioned. All four crew members have won HRR medals, the ladies winning the Junior Quads in 2012. Two Masters crews won the D and E Coxed Four categories on handicap.
In the afternoon the club boated five eights with victory in the Masters D crew.
The next race will be at Reading Head on March 7th.
