Wanted – ambitious rowers!

UTRC are actively seeking athletes interested in competing for the club at all levels from elite to Masters.

We take our rowing fairly seriously at Upper Thames but also welcome those with a more recreational outlook.

Our fleet of Empachers is second-to-none and our location, facilities and equipment set us apart. We keep our subscriptions very low and our value as high as possible. Our fabulous gym overlooks the famous Henley course.

Those men and women willing to put in the most time training and improving will be helped by our coaching team, headed up by Clive Cooper.

If you are a Vet of any standard we have a wealth of ex-international athletes to test yourself against. You will be well looked after in our various groups. Main session times are before and after work (weekdays) and weekend mornings from 7.30am.

At Upper Thames we like to keep the focus on rowing. We are hospitable, friendly and sociable but prefer to spend money on boats and training rather than secondary considerations. There is a 50% concession for those under 26 and over 75, and free trailering to regattas. Our tea, coffee and milk are even free!
