Kingston-on-Thames Head of the River Race

Following all this excitement in the week, the Upper Thames women’s squad boated a Senior 1 quadruple scull in the Kingston-on-Thames Head of the River race on Saturday 8th March. Not only did the crew of Imogen Roberts (bow) Rebecca Salisbury, Beth Jackson and Anna van Leemputten (stroke) win the event by a margin of 39 seconds over the 5600 metre course; they were also the fastest four-crew women’s boat, beating many of the eights as well.
