| Upper Thames Fours and Small Boats Head - 28th October 07 |
(Under ARA Rules) Course approximately 2 miles upstream This Head will
be rowed in two divisions. There are no boat restrictions.
Competitors are encouraged to enter more than one division. ALL BOATS MUST COMPLY WITH THE UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS OF THE THAMES REGIONAL ROWING COUNCIL. ANY BOAT FAILING TO DO SO WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RACE

ARA entry forms and summary forms must be used. No entry will be accepted without completed entry forms. Competitors ARA numbers and points must be entered on the forms. Remember that DAY TICKETS are no longer available. Telephone entries will be accepted by Saturday 20 October, but completed forms and entry fees must subsequently be received no later than Tuesday 23 October. Crew’s whose fees are not paid or who do not supply current ARA numbers will not be allowed to race In the event of only two entries in any category the crews will be transferred to the nearest appropriate category. Entries can be made online from 1st October 2007 - Online Entry ENTRIES CLOSE AT MIDDAY ON SATURDAY 20th OCTOBER 2006 RACE HEADQUARTERS IS AT UTRC. REGISTRATION, BOATING AND CAR PARKING, are by kind permission of the Henley Royal Regatta, in the field adjoining Leander Club. Racing takes place over an upstream course of approximately 2 miles. Refreshments will be available from 11:00am The event operates under the ARA Rules of Racing and Water Safety Code. The Safety Code requires that all boats must have bow balls, heel restraints for flexible shoes and must be in good condition. All coxes must wear a buoyancy aid. BEWARE: Usual river navigation applies before 10 am
