Upper Thames Fours and Small Boats Head - 31st October 2010

(Under ARA Rules)

Course approximately 2 miles upstream

This Head will be rowed in two divisions. There are no boat restrictions. Competitors are encouraged to enter more than one division.

Division 1: Starts at 11:00 for all categories
Division 2: Starts at 14:00 for all categories

ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:

Entry Forms

ARA entry forms and summary forms must be used. No entry will be accepted without completed entry forms. Competitors ARA numbers and points must be entered on the forms.
Remember that DAY TICKETS are no longer available.

Telephone entries will be accepted up to midday Sunday 25th October, but completed forms and entry fees must subsequently be received no later than Tuesday 27 October.

Crew’s whose fees are not paid or who do not supply current ARA numbers will not be allowed to race.

In the event of only two entries in any category the crews will be transferred to the nearest appropriate category.

Registration, Boating & Parking

RACE HEADQUARTERS IS AT UTRC.

REGISTRATION, BOATING AND CAR PARKING, are by kind permission of the Henley Royal Regatta, in the field adjoining Leander Club. Please Kindly observe their request and ONLY PARK ON HARD STANDINGS. Racing takes place over an upstream course of approximately 2 miles. Refreshments will be available from 10:00am

The event operates under the ARA Rules of Racing and ARA ROW SAFE Guidelines. The Safety Code requires that all boats must have bow balls, heel restraints for flexible shoes and must be in good condition. All coxes must wear a buoyancy aid.
