About Us

Upper Thames Rowing Club was founded in 1963. It occupies the site of the old Henley Regatta “boom sheds” on the famous Henley stretch of the Thames, just over 500m from the Regatta finish line. The club has a proud history of competition amongst men and women alongside a thriving masters squad. After a wait of 50 years, the club achieved a double success at Henley Royal Regatta in 2014, winning both the Wyfold and Brittania Challenge Cups. The club welcomes athletes of all levels and ages.
